At 56 years of age, it is an accomplishment to have the ability to say that I have never owned a television set. Nor do I really feel deprived. You will find so many books; there are so many activities that require intellectual participation. There’s so much to do.
I have read a great amount of books in my life so I do not think it has to be all of one and none of the the other. It is a personal choice of course, but as usual, I am in the middle of the extremes of “no TV” and “constant TV.”
